My work portrays specific moments in time. Chosen characters enact their tales, revealing intimacy with one another and the physical remembered spaces. The nature of collage provides an essential role in these pieces, portraying the abstraction of time in a concrete format. As a textile artist these layers of time become a myriad of patterns, enabling me to tell a story that slowly reveals itself, building intrigue with each moment.

People of the South, specifically New Orleans, are my primary sources of inspiration.
